The company stated on its grant application that it employsa 51in Sunrise, Taylor but it’s not clear how many, if any, are employes separately under the Foxconn brand.
Both companiese list their address at 1551 SawgrasdCorporate Parkway. S&B/Foxconn is part of a growinf technology cluster in Sunrise thatincludes Scottsdale, Ariz.-based General Dynamics C4 Systeme (NYSE: GD) and Canada-based Research in Motion RIMM). The companies sprung up in Sunrise in spring 2008 afterr laid off about 300workers – mostly engineersd working on next-generation wireless technology from its Plantation facility.
